About

I grew up in Lutsk, Ukraine documenting my life with the camera, which I got from my granddad when he passed away.

I started my career as a freelance photographer when I was 16. I managed to move to Austria on my own when I was 22 to study photography because I couldn't do this in Ukraine. In 2018 I got a scholarship for the International Class program in photojournalism and documentary photography at the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany in 2018.

In 2019, I founded an NGO "Center for Visual Education" in my hometown, where I teach course to young Ukrainian photographers and visual artists.

In 2021 I started learning and practicing curating, which brought me to the academy of fine arts in Saarbrücken, Germany. I'm currently finishing my Masters and am working on my personal projects. I'm focused on political issues, remembrance, community work and participatory art projects.
