Good Morning. Russia invaded Ukraine
On 24.02.2022 when russia invaded Ukraine, I woke up from the sound of explosions and I knew immediately what that meant. I started texting my friends. Most of Ukrainians did the same. I was very scared and felt guilty for feeling so. Through collection of these texts from other Ukrainians, most of whom I don’t know, I validated my fear and don’t feel guilty about it anymore. Thousands of messages and calls, like threads, united us. I am inspired by humor, honesty, bravery and many “how are you’s” and “I love you’s” that were said on that day.
